Dude, not even 40 shot attempts is pathetic. And this has to be the single worst team in league history when it comes to pulling the goalie. I've never seen a team consistently give up an ENG so often
 
I was watching the game while playing a gig I started elbowing the keyboard ferociously during on that 3rd goal. Thanks sabres
 
Fold the team! Fold the team! Or at least move them the hell out of town. There's an indian burial ground's-worth of dread attached to them at this point. It's not going to get better.
 
I was at the game. It was the first one I've watched this year. Seems like I didn't miss much. Players and coaches come and go, yet somehow this team is always lifeless. There was literally nothing to like about their game except UPL and a couple chances by Tage. At least the Caps fans got to enjoy a win.

Special teams were our downfall, again.

2 PP goals against, and our PP was flaccid, even with revamped units.

You do know what that really means when they hold the puck too long...Right????

Or when they blindly slap the puck out of the zone?

Or see their passes and shots regularly blocked, intercepted or stopped?

Or fail to win 1 on 1 battles for the puck? Much less win battle of possession

Or are unable to stop cross ice passes in the NZ and defensive zones...

For me, that's a lack of fundamentals, a lack of talent and some very poor coaching, instruction and on ice execution.

I noticed tonight that Seth Appert is running the tactical end of the operation. No wonder the PP is abysmal.

Zero wins without Dahlin, LMAO, our top 6 just bad, our defense is terrible, PP sucks.

the kids especially have lost their confidence and are lost . cozens may be normal as he plays w fear and never did . I THINK they should put Quinn and Cozens w Tage

Benson Tuch and greenway etc

feed off space and will of those unaffected

Quinn seemed to be himself after two injuries but ZERO evenstrenth goals this year

Benson has been tested in life and seems relentless like Tage

the rest who've had it easy wow , they have to take a beating in front of the net, go to the net every time w puck, I'll give okposo that


they lose puck battles half hearted not deciding to win take it back or die , it came to easy


I thought Dahlin was nonchalant but he drives this team apparently, while power is a meek super talented child under ruff
