I hear the same thing with Blue Jays fans, 'its early' and guess what, the Jays still missed the post season.

The current make up of this team is not .500 hockey, too many passengers and terrible goaltending mixed with bad defense.

disagree but not that it matters really, 'goalie' will have some hot runs, some guys will get clickin, then they'll slump, its hockey livin in the bottom 3rd, there are some truly awful teams down there, I don't think theyre 'awful'
Pegula hired a "yes man" with zero experience building a roster, who drafted a bunch of players that have not developed anywhere near where they should.
Lazy? Low hockey IQ? The roster is the way it is because of the CHOICES that Pegula made.

The league should force Pegula to sell as he is clearly incompetent.
Then Adams can be fired being incompetent.
Lindy, largely out of past accomplishments, I will give a pass.
Man I need a couple doubles to ease the pain....

Honestly we should crowdfund to hire a truck to dump a giant pile of manure in front of the arena in protest the was STL Rams fans did to Stan Kronkie (they sent it to his office).
Based on some of these posts, I think the Sabres might be a public health hazard.

Ehh, true, it just didn’t look sustainable with McLeod scoring once every three shots to make up for the second line being a dumpster fire
If it stays bad, I wouldn’t mind hearing some healthy “**** you, Terry” or “sell the franchise” chants at KBC to break up the library or mausoleum atmosphere

Pathetic loss. Pathetic team. No game breakers. They fan and flail at the puck and they have no idea where their team mates are or are supposed to be .They even manage to take one another out with the extra attacker nullifying 2 from the play.....

I think it's becoming clear that the players aren't coachable. If a team makes them work for it a little bit they fold.
Ya know... the effort was there but the talent and skill level is not. So many of the Sabres supposed GO-TO guys are good at only one thing...... Great passer. Or has a fantastic shot. Fast skater. And that's it.
Theyremind me of ol' Benoit Hogue. Man, he could fly! But hands of stone. Girgensen similarly.
The Sabres do not have a cadres of well rounded elite at several skills set of players. They certainly don't have anyone who can take over a game. (Other than Dahlin, Peterka comes close. But they won't let Rasmus play his game and seemingly have molded him into someone else.)
And the one's they once had are now gone.
I mean lets compare the 2005-06 team with this one. Sorry, there is no comparison.
So who built that team?? (We know who built the current one.)
I want a new team. This one ain't it.

Who is our Eichel/ROR/Reinhart? Meaning, who is the guy that gets traded from a failing situation and has a chip on their shoulder to prove that they were not the reason for the failure?
I can think of Marner, Matthews, Nylander as possible candidates. When these guys go, they will have a chip on their shoulder to prove that they were not the reason why the leafs never won the big one. Why not come here and prove it in Buffalo. Realistically I think Marner is the only one we would be able to attain in a trade and even then it is far fetched.
