Power had a wide open net with about 2 mins left and just choked. He knew the game was on his stick so he tried to aim it and he missed. How do we continuously draft these players with this kind of mental make up, that just don’t have “it”? It’s baffling.
Power was our best D by far AINEC. how about you blame the other 4 who have never done anything.

Game should've been 4-1 without the Power and Tuch saves. Islanders and Detroit put 3 in front of the net and the sabres couldnt do a damn thing.

I think Quinn is going to be a good one. But send him to the AHL and trade for a top 6 winger as a placeholder for a few years
This team needs a good veteran top 6 player (or two) so desperately. It’s obvious the kids can’t do it themselves. They need a good veteran player to help them.

I like the adds Kevyn Adams made but they are all bottom 6 guys. He needs to make a meaningful addition to the top 6. I still can’t believe he bet on this core again in what feels like such a make or break year. If they had any production from their second line the record would probably look different.

So annoying to hear him talk about how it’s all about winning now but then do very little to back it up. Though we don’t know what the internal budget is either, I guess.

ROR, Eichel, Reinhart just never had “it” in a sabres jersey. They all left and were huge reasons their teams won cups.

Even Dylan Cozens can lead the work championships in goals, plays like a fourth liner in Buffalo.

There’s something very wrong in Buffalo and it starts with Terry Pegula

I’m not saying Pegula is a good owner but I don’t agree with this, how does Pegula being the owner make every player a lazy piece of trash? This is a group of losers they have no belief in themselves, no conviction. They play without any fervor and are happy just collecting their checks. The worst of the culprits is Dahlin who somehow managed to convince this ownership group that he was worth 11 million dollars a year. Is he worth even 7 right now? I have seen talentless squads play with more heart, passion and cohesiveness than what I watched today. Outside of maybe 4 or 5 good shifts the Sabres were absolutely horrid. Skate it into the zone, get pressured, immediately cower and turn over the puck, rinse and repeat. This group of players has not shown me anything to show they are capable of reaching the next level. Outside of Tage who in this leadership group has shown anything this year in terms of being a professional and playing the game the right away? Dahlin, Cozens, Samuelsson and to a lesser degree Tuch have all been garbage although at least Tuch has passable moments. It’s downright sickening that we have to watch this team for the rest of the year just to see them draft top 10 again. Lord, have mercy on our souls.

You know what the sad part is though, a diehard fan like me just doesn't care anymore and I know I'm not the only one. What an absolute travesty this franchise has turned into.

It's a glut of .500 teams.

They lost a close game to .500 team who they beat last week.
They lost to Columbus and they lost to Detroit both teams that are playing at .500 and they lost to the Islanders who are playing under .500 now. How are the Sabres a .500 team being 2 games behind that at .375 and not being able to matchup against teams playing at or below .500?
