I don’t totally blame ‘em- they just wanna compete hard and get to the offseason healthy. If they do what should be done they get a huge suspension, because that’s how the NHL works- allow all the violence until it ends in a Bertuzzi, then you gotta act all shocked and pretend to change.

I think it might technically not be interference because Gadjovich actually touches the puck (by accident I think?) a half second before he makes contact. So I guess it might technically be a reverse hit.

Or do you need to have “possession” (a nebulous concept) for a reverse hit to be legal?

Still the ref should have called interference because there is no way he would have seen that without the benefit of replay.

Now hitting that guy from behind into the f***ing glass like they did with Nick cousins, that would be worth it. But I would be looking to end somebody who they think is important for their playoffs just to f*** with those guys. Like really really f*** them over. Too bad Sam and Barckhoff are not in the lineup tonight. Those kind of guys I would go out of my way to injure.
