Seriously, doing some sort of “code” bullshit with the guy who threw the dirty hit, won’t get you anywhere. Now hitting that guy from behind into the f***ing glass like they did with Nick cousins, that would be worth it. But I would be looking to end somebody who they think is important for their playoffs just to f*** with those guys. Like really really f*** them over. Too bad Sam and Barckhoff are not in the lineup tonight. Those kind of guys I would go out of my way to injure. And then, if there was a hearing, I would say well hey you didn’t protect my guy I needed to send a message. And then take your lumps. But a message needs to be f***ing sent.

And that’s what the Sabres need to do to make sure other teams don’t take dirty hits. Also makes the refs make calls when it happens again. Refs don’t want a game with a lot of dirty heats but they won’t call them against a team that doesn’t respond.
