Just finished.
1.) Refs were absolutely, 100%, totally, absolutely GARBAGE. And I'm not just talking about the Kulich thing. Like....how in the hell did we get a 2 minute 5-on-3? When Benson was throwing punches?
2.) Vanacek might be our kryptonite this year. Jesus.
3.) What is it going to take for this team to sack up and cheap-shot someone? ANYONE? Where the holy hell is the heart of this team? Know how there's a meme that all orange tabby cats around the world share one brain cell? This entire team shares one heart....and Benson continually has it.

I honestly think it was an attempt to try and calm things down. They knew that we were pissed and this was the refs making it up in hopes it would cool things down.

So, I caught the last 14 minutes or so of this one.
I know we scored on that 5 on 3...but woof. It was terrible for 1:59 right up until they scored. And that was WITH taking a time out.
How easily a well coached team missing 4 out of its top 6F can just snuff out our team in the 3rd period just really reinforces to me that there have been some fundamental mistakes in how this team is built and has been developed. Yes, it was nice to see a response when Dahlin got suckered in the head. But just a lack of any ability to break the trap or sustain any pressure in the 3rd when it wasn't a gifted 5 on 3 was silly.
This team isn't winning a playoff series, as built, without some serious puck luck/hot goalie.
