@DaveLozo: Talbot on Callahan incident: "We decided to go and we were holding each other up and
his shoulder popped out or something. Unfortunate."

@DaveLozo: More from Talbot on Callahan: "I let him go. I kind of felt it, but then I saw his face as well."

Damn. Doesn't sound good.

I won't panic, unless he's done for the year.

He scored the GWG, but his play in the last 30+ games has been inexcusable for the 'heart and soul' of this hockey club.

We'll be fine without him.

Like you said 2012 playoffs and this season so far he's not playing well. During that time we're a world-beating 13-13. Clearly, we're fine without him.

JT Miller...COME ON DOWN!!!

Yes, we are. He's been pretty brutal ES this year (1 ES GF while on ice , 5 GA). Two tap-ins in the powerplay as his only speck of offensive production.

Now we'll see what Hags is made of. Torts will ride him 20+ mins like he does with Callahan in all situations.

I suffered something similar playing tackle football in the park, basically I had one man to beat and was trying to stiff arm him, and he grabbed my arm and gave it a tug. Separated my shoulder and tore my labrum. Very painful and took forever to heal. If Callahan does indeed have a tear there is a chance he will never be the same...and repeat separations might happen. I know my shoulder still feels a bit "looser" than the other. I don't think I was confident enough to play football again for another year. However he is an elite athlete so maybe that won't be the case.

LMAO at the people blaming Talbot for "ripping his shoulder out" Are you guys actually friggin serious? Wow this is a new low for these boards. Its a fight, this type of thing happens when your grabbing an opponent and battling for position to exchange blows......give me a break wow. :shakehead

Homers gonna homer.

Imagine if Talbot was the one who got hurt, we'd all be laughing at that idiocy of Flyers fans accusing Callahan intentionally hurting him.

Everyone ****ing stop talking about Talbot causing the injury. Dumbest **** ive ever read on here.

No ****ing kidding, I actually can't believe I was reading that a few pages back. One of the more stupid posts I've ever read on a forum.

Very unlikely he is done for the year. This isn't a shoulder separation. It is a dislocation which is better news. 1-2 months before he is back tho.

If it is a dislocation, it's better news. Still, unless you have surgery, once you dislocate it's more likely to pop out repeatedly, a problem in a physical game, though I imagine they might have some sort of a harness to help with stability.

Except that Talbot did. I don't think he intended to pop his shoulder out of the socket, but that's what happened when he was handling Cally

That's like blaming a chick for getting pregnant by 'accident'. It takes two to tango, and sometimes when you do, **** happens.

Unfortunate, but it's not Talbot's 'fault'.
