Got to watch him play all year, far from a one trick pony. Yes, he is known for his wide drive, and using his speed. He also gets a lot of straight up break aways, you cant fault a player for having the ability to break in alone. A lot of his goals remind me of Chris Kreider... great size and speed combination, and no fear to drive to the net hard.

I'm saying using his speed right now is such a large component of his offense, beating people wide or a breakaway are one in the same when I refer to that. I am not faulting him at all, I'm saying he's quite good at that actually, I hope he continues to do it. However, adding versatility to his attack is something he needs to do if he wants to play in the NHL plain and simple, he has to be able to create some chances off forecheck pressure, he has to be able to protect the puck down low and show a little bit of vision and poise when plays are getting jammed up along the walls, keep long cycle plays going. There are other players like Brendan Warren and Austin Wagner that can also blaze up and down for the odd chance, does not mean they are all going to make the NHL. All I'm saying is Zach needs to diversify and develop his game. Not really an offensive thing to say about a late 2nd/early 3rd round prospect, I am not saying he can't do it either, I hope he can.

When coaches yammer about attacking the net (where "good things happen"), you get a sense they only have two or three guys on their roster who actually do it. Blessed with blinding speed and a fearless attack mentality, Senyshyn is the type of player who provides that kind of edge teams look for in a player; hard charging but calculated and in control. He's been compared to New York Rangers' power forward Chris Kreider, who (love him or hate him) would be a welcomed addition on any NHL roster. Senyshyn, who wasn't even given a letter rating by Central Scouting in their preliminary list, has a very good shot and can score in a number of ways. He's at his best, however, when he's in full flight, beating defensemen to the outside or inside and taking the disc right towards the blue paint. If there was an area or two where he could certainly work on, it would be his playmaking ability, and decision making when bulldozing through a Gustav Line of defenders is not an option. Those things can be improved on with experience. For now, he's an outstanding option for the wing and is certainly going to make his coach at the next level very happy.

Needs to become more of a complete player, but if it happens look out.

One of the OHL's best at producing at ES with limited TOI.

One of the worst 1st round picks ever. Could be the 2015 Hugh Jessiman

But Hugh Jessiman had physical limitations that prevented him from being an NHLer. Not only was he just not that good, he was slow.

At least Senyshyn has the physical tools to become an NHL player. At what capacity, it remains to be seen, but he'll get there.

He should refuse to sign and go back into the draft. I wouldn't want to be in his position right now.

We essentially traded Hamilton for him. Jesus. The kid is already a bust in most people's eyes.

Not to mention he would be a 2nd to 3rd rounder.

Most had him in the early to mid 2nd, but there were a couple who were saying he was rising and could go in the 1st. Nobody had him in the 3rd.

Sounds like the things that were said after Jankowski was drafted.

Come on ... He's a reach at 15 yes but he's not bad player because of is ranking! If you look at his number its not great but he play on a 3rd or 4th line on a stack team! Wait for next year he will put more than a point per game. But yes i think the bruins could step back and take him in the late 20s. I still think he will be a top 6 player. Give the kid a chance

Bruins fans are frustrated (deservedly so) because Don Sweeney destroyed their team with the Hamilton trade and then used the pick (15) to draft a player ranked ~40. They are not writing off Senyshyn. There is a good chance he will be an NHLer. It just seems if they really liked him they could have traded down significantly and still gotten him. I hope the pick works out.
