Got to see him play a series against mooseheads in the playoffs last year and he was the most dangerous player on the ice in the series that included mackinnon, drouin, kucherov. He of course was a few years older than mackinnon and drouin but still... should be a good one for montreal in the near future, steal of the draft imo

Reading some of your posts...you don't post much but sound knowledgeable when you do

I saw him play against OKC not too long ago and he seemed like a perimeter player to me.

He was trying to beat guys with his speed/acceleration off the rush and on the cycle. When it didn't work, he was getting overmatched physically.

If that game was any indication, he'll have to get stronger and develop an inside move/net drive to be a factor above the NHL, imo.

Congrats to Andrighetto on his first NHL call up. He was tied for 2nd in team scoring in Hamilton at the time of his call up.

His game looks shockingly similar to Sergei Samsonov's to me. I can see him becoming something similar... hopefully without the injuries.

Been really impressed with Ghetto from what I've seen from him so far. Obviously somewhat raw, but man is he ever shifty and skilled. Has the potential to be a 1st line scorer. Time will tell whether or not he can physically handle the game though. He looked like he was about to get cranked a few times last night, but managed to evade the checks.

How would you compare him to Gaudreau?

As much as I dishate everyone weird love with Gaudreau, they arent really comparable.

IMO Gaudreau has better speed and hands and maybe a better shot.

Ghetto is more well rounded and is solid in both ends of the ice while having slightly less footspeed and hands.

Gaudreau has higher end potential. Ghetto could turn put into a fine top 6 forward, though, and I'm very pleased with that considering where he was picked.

I don't see Gaudeau as being faster but in other categories yes he is better.

not at all....

Gaudreau is better at every aspect of the game besides size.

Andrighetto is a fine player however. likely a solid 3rd liner who can play spot duty in the top 6

Disagree.

His game and physical makeup make him a top 6er or out of the lineup IMO

Gaudreau is more well rounded than you think.

But i'm excited to see this relatively unknown prospect succeed. It's always fun to see. I hope Andrighetto can somehow stick with Montreal for the rest of the season.
