I wasn't being serious about the caps getting laine. I was just pointing out that he admires ovechkin's game, and tries to play the same style. In the link above he talks about how he would want to play with ovi.
Sick finish.
Husso really bit on that one.
Don't blame Husso on that goal he didn't have no chance to save that.
If / when you wanna blame someone blame those HIFK defenders which let Laine on breakway that was unforgivable mistake for HIFK's defence.
I'm so glad we have you to post the negative side about everything that Laine does. Not blaming, Laine made a nice move but Husso is pretty bad on 1on1 situations. Always bites on the 1st move too much.

Then again there's still plenty of goalies in the NHL who falls for the similar kind of trick when players are able to execute a deke like that. Not blaming, Laine made a nice move but Husso is pretty bad on 1on1 situations. Always bites on the 1st move too much.

Maybe Husso overplayed a bit in that one but usually when you deke like Laine did in that one, it can look dirty.
Goals like these only serve the league as in general. I've gotten sick by the trend where players just tries to slide the puck from the goalie's five hole trying to score the safest way possible.

Reminds me Pavel Bure
Minus Bure's most noticeable trait.... the speed.
somehow he got away from defenders there, guess it wasn't his speed then

It wasn't the speed, it was his ability to read the play develop. He got a head start for the breakaway and was merely fast enough to keep the distance.
Impressive display of skill by him throughout the whole sequence but speed was the least impressive part of it.
