I was just looking at his stats cause I have him in my keeper league and he hasn't finished a single game with a minus since he was scratched for those two games a while back. I know +/- isn't the best metric but pretty telling that he's been even or plus in every game since.

Man, I can still hear the screeching from Philly fans when Torts sat Michkov.

Torts was right and it worked. Michkov is playing fantastic and smart hockey. Some warts, sure, but he has acclimated very well and quick.

Michkov seems to have adjusted to his new country and league. Didn’t take him very long either. Brilliant player.

Michkov passes this so puck ever so slowly so that Frost can skate into it. A medium strength pass will not create that goal. Hockey sense, vision, and accurate passing rolled into one . Impressive stuff.
