Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Because the Finns thought it'd be a better use of his time to be at the WJC summer showcase, and it was probably viewed as too much of a burden to ask him to play both in August.

ffs, I'm on the youtube channel but nothing comes out. It says 3 people are waiting or something, so am I on viewer queue or what the heck is happening? Some advice would be appreciated.

Only got to watch the third period from a really bad stream. I had trouble keeping a track on him cause you could barely see the jersey numbers. At the very end of the third period he made a terrific pass to Filppula who was completely alone in back corner of the net, where he then failed to capitalize grade A scoring chance.

He looks very impressive in corners and tight spaces, but hasn't really produced lately. I hope he can get into some sort of a groove once the season starts properly.

Didn't Pulju&Laine really start to produce around/after the WJC?

I don't remember the exact numbers for Laine, but I do for Pulju.
Before WJC Pulju had 31 gp, 12 points (5 + 7) and after WJC 29 gp, 25 points (12 + 13). Laine was getting hotter and hotter the later the season got.

To be honest, he was looking better in the previous games and he has his condition. Hopefully he recovers for tomorrow.

Also Rantanen raised his game to another level post WJC.
It's going to be a long season and what matters the most is how Kakko looks at the end of season.

The game against Malmö looked solid even though Kakko didn't register a point. You can see he is a smart player. He knows what to do in quick situations, creating chances and helping his team keep possession. Maybe it's because I haven't seen him in a while, but his speed seems improved as well.

With some better luck he could have had a point or two against Malmö. If he keeps doing the right things, points will come. Although it's not like he has been unproductive since he had 2 points in 2 preseason games prior to this game. And all this while playing mature game in both ends.
Interesting that he wasn't on the ice for any of the opponents' 8 goals.

TPS is absolute garbage and his line doesn't work at all. I'm not expecting him to put up many points in Liiga this season.
