Most people wanted Glass or Vilardi although yes you’re right that most people weren’t upset with us selecting EP. Just not the first choice for most people.

Glass is also looking great with over a 2 PPG production this year in Juniors.

Glass is currently just under 2PPG av actually.

And I like him, believe in him, would lean toward him becoming a productive NHLer than not, but generally a 4th year overager ripping apart one of the junior leagues is no guarantee.

I’d be more impressed with a 19 yr old on the NHL with 5 pts than a 19 yr old in junior with 64 in 34 games.

Most people wanted Glass or Vilardi although yes you’re right that most people weren’t upset with us selecting EP. Just not the first choice for most people.

I have a short list of posters to pay attention to and if you look at the concentration of those that actually watch prospects opposed to parrot what they hear, it was slight majority favoring Glass with a handful adamant about Pettersson, and a seemingly equal split on for and against Vilardi, almost both sides equally passionate about staying away from or picking.

I wanted Pettersson, so I'm no clown. (Is that how this works?)
