Jarvis, Gunler, Ponomarev, Nybeck, Nikishin, Pashin, and Seeley. They did pretty OK I guess.

I like this pick a lot. I was hoping for him in the 3rd.

This was a very good late pick. To me, this is what you do in the 7th round: get the consensus BPAs remaining in the draft. To me, there's actually more room for scouting in the earlier rounds in a sense.

Carolina has 3 7th round picks next year. The FO does seem to love to swing on value and "undersized" skill guys at the end of the draft, so it'll be interesting to see who they take with them next year. IMO it all started in 2018 with Sellgren and then really amplified starting in 2019 with Slepets/Wall/Murray/Rizzo. Perhaps it does lead to an NHL roster of smurfs in 6 years or so, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, mainly because you can't hit what you can't catch.

I think you've seen the WJC roster, there's more than enough of depth at winger positions.
