I've seen a lot of 'non traditional' nations playing with Canadians all over their roster. I'm not a fan. If Scotty Bowman was in his prime, I'd still take Hadamczak over him (and I hate Hadamaczak). Having said that, Soccer has a lot of blurred lines and international coaches. Maybe my take on this is wrong. I'm even okay with Pivonka and the Hejduk twins playing for the US and I guarantee they'd all help the Czechs in a big way.

No need to apologize. I’m just looking at our roster and even 2-3 NHL forwards at solid level would be huge difference maker. And I was thinking about the case of football with Pulisic. He got Croatian citizenship extremely easily and even before he got it Croatia was asking for him to represent them. Ultimately he stayed with America though. Watching Stastny dominate against us in 2014 Olympics was hard to watch

Looking at the imbalance in Offense and Defense in the current pool and upcoming prospects I think we’ll need to outscore any team in the future. If they score 8 we need to score 9. Can’t rely on Seider alone.

The goal was a bit lucky but quick passes and lots of shots is how like my powerplays! Nice to see NHL guys step up a little in 3rd.
 
Of course. Moravcik. Who else? I don't think we can go far unless we tighten up this defence!

Meh I'm not sure this is such a great idea. Pietrangelo playing for Italy (I know he's good enough for Canada, just an example) doesn't do their hockey program any good and kind of makes a mockery out of the concept of international competition. There was a time where half of Germany's roster was born and raised in canada and it was just a sign of a weak system.

I honestly don't have many memories of a guy being that open in the final 20 seconds of a 3 - 3 game.lol That's probably a bench change.. coaching type thing. Or a Czech slipped on a banana peel.

Nice game... I enjoyed it despite the awful ending. Sadly, I just watched us lose to Finland at the U18 in very similar fashion less than a month ago... PTSD is real.haha
