It's funny because Flek is a guy coaches loves that never scores... he just skates and skates. I'm always disapointed when we cut talented players like Stransky, Lenc (and Spacek is below him at 13) for guys like Flek. So, sure enough, Jakub Flek gets the goal!

Fun fact.. at the U18... all 3 Czech players of the tournament were named 'Jakub'.

I'd say we are better at 5 on 5 to start.

I think there was another incident. I'm honestly not sure. I don't want to accuse Russia of anything and don't follow it. If they are truly cheating than the punishment should be kicked out of tourney not wear a different jersey. Eg. imagine if Ben Johnson could still run at the Olympics for Canada but in a shirt that says 'somewhere in North America'.lol

Having said that, no idea what they did and I hope they aren't as doped up as Johnson was.lol

Yeah I thought it was over and done with, I mean they didn't have to wear these things the last few years at the WHC, they must have gotten dinged again but I hadn't heard anything.

There is winning at all costs and then there is that........it's not worth it.

In general, I like what the Russians are doing hockey wise. Eg. Provorov is an exceptional D. Their goalies are phenomenal and they are starting to get some very good NHL D again. Just need some Centres at the NHL/Best on best level. I think I read on HF that they had a record 55 Russians in the NHL as well (something like that).

BTW... hope you saw how good Price was last night! There is your starter!
 
Would be great if Kühnhackl and Rieder could remember that they actually used to have some offensive skill once upon a time.
