I mixed my dates up, it looks like they were suspended in 2020. They will miss all major sporting events until the end of 2022. They switched from OAR to ROC, because they weren’t technically allowed to represent their Olympic committee.

Russian PP coming up! Hronek took a heater right before that. Musil is a big strond dude... in the mould of Derian Hatcher from an era gone by! Shame, would love to see him in Oil silks.

I have a huge bias for Spacek and they gave him a few shifts with top 6... I don't think he can be denied ice time. He's clearly hitting his peak here to my eyes and is a perfect complimentary player. He should be with Zadina.

Nice save by Hrubec. Russian PP is beautiful.
 
Smejkal reminds me a lot of Slephyshev .. big dude who can skate! I heard he has NHL interest.. he'll never be a goal scorer in the NHL but I could see him being an effective 3 or 4C like Nosek.

He is but he's our 13th forward today .. it's a nice problem to have I guess. I think he'll do well in SEL... selfishly, I hope he ends up in NHL before year 2 of that contract kicks in! He's getting old.

Strange that he isn't playing more. He has been the best, most dynamic player on the ice the few minutes he has played.

Everytime I've seen him since WJHC I always love his vision and nice touch. The EHT games before this was a beauty example. Jet's wouldn't even give him a game.. not sure if he has some major flaw like skating, attitude or D play. Maybe I have blinders on for him.

Hopefully Shane Hnidy will get himself up to speed on who is actually on the ice and where they play.
 
Zadina draws a PP! It's not the EHT but our PP looked great there.. let's see how it looks in the real tournament.

Nice goal from Russia.. awful giveaway.. we didn't even get setup. That Russian pass went throught 2 Czechs - Vrana and Kubalik. I think it was Kovar with the giveaway... so our top line.lol
 
Shocking effort by the Czechs up until now. Limited zone time, zero grit and too many passengers.

Russia has too much of an easy game at dominating our zone. I've got no words for that zero ***** attitude.
