It’s probably smart to try and find someone who can prop Nurse up so he’s easier to trade. But with no cap space I guess we’re expecting Broberg to prop up the pairing. Doesn’t seem like a good plan.

In my opinion, we MUST find a way to get more abrasive and stronger for playoff hockey ... The Canuck and Panther series showed that.

Idk I just see this as a pivotal off season. They have to improve the roster. Prospects are super important but the next 2 years are monumentally important and I doubt these kids will do anything in 2 years.

Trouba at 5 million isn't that bad tbh. Guarantee you if we retain 3 million on Nurse teams will line up to trade for him. Problem is we'd now have 3 million in dead cap for the next half decade lol.

That was always a very unlikely thing. If it's on the table because Nurse wants it and no one wants him maybe it might drive him to actually try and live up to his contract.
