Hilarious. Very funny. Gut buster.
That’s not why! My mom thinks I’m hilarious and even she doesn’t invite meAnd then he wonders why he isn't invited to parties.
it would be a team willing to buy him out for us this year or next year.I'd be surprised if there's any market for Campbell. It would be damn near miraculous if they can find a taker for him.
This team likes the other players is the issue. I don’t think they want to move anyone. Only rumoured Kane might be on the move is cause he doesn’t like his usage. They WANT to keep the other guys.Hopefully we're not so preoccupied with trying to find a home for Campbell that we don't move out other players that we should be upgrading on.
Can Nurse really be considered a leader at this point? His role has diminished and his on ice play has been ass. Yes he's McDrai's friend, but what type of leadership does he bring to the table at this point other than being on the team's highest paid leaderboard? Not sure why some people think a third line McLeod would be anywhere near the value asked to take on a $15 million cap buyout goaltender. Find a middle roster 25-30/35 point guy in free agency or trade marginal stuff.
The next generation Oil management group key learning will be to follow organizations like Tampa, Vegas, even Vancouver and Jersey who have mastered ability to move out expensive assets with minimal collateral cost. The difference is assets being moved have some positive value within new organizations that can absorb the cap/salary hits. In the case of no tax Tampa and Vegas they are destination franchises who have no problem attracting replacement players and enough system resources to sustain.
The Oilers yard sale with Campbell is fairy tale stuff with an age 32 goaltender with small NHL numbers for his age and incredible, erratic game that required a complete sabbatical within months of arrival. Nurse too is likely more valuable for this team's stage of life, locker room and beyond relationship with its two super elites requiring contract renewals, than pushing out the door.
Coming back with both Nurse and Ceci would be beyond ridiculous. This team likes the other players is the issue. I don’t think they want to move anyone. Only rumoured Kane might be on the move is cause he doesn’t like his usage. They WANT to keep the other guys.
Lol he’s overpaid every UFA so far but sure go off.
And hopefully we could bring Kostin back as well.I think a team like SJ could be smart to grab some assets for Campbell. They aren’t going anywhere in the next 3 years and Campbell would probably be serviceable with no pressure on him. But I have no idea what we have assets at this point so I can’t see anything happening.
And yet that is the likely scenario. Our final game D is what we will go into next season with. Only changes will be at forward.Coming back with both Nurse and Ceci would be beyond ridiculous.
Talking about Canucks GM.
So that's what JJ was talking to Tulsky about:
Hopefully we're not so preoccupied with trying to find a home for Campbell that we don't move out other players that we should be upgrading on.
My badTalking about Canucks GM.
It's not what you, me or the fence post thinks, it's what their leadership group, team and management group think. We see only a small part of the team dynamic. No access to locker room, training camp and practice, travel and team activities. Way too much information not available to us to make a judgement. Can Nurse really be considered a leader at this point? His role has diminished and his on ice play has been ass. Yes he's McDrai's friend, but what type of leadership does he bring to the table at this point other than being on the team's highest paid leaderboard?
