Ceci blows. Well established.

Now let’s get a defenceman that can actually make an impact beyond just surviving or playing a quiet solid game.

His name is Erik Karlsson.

wow

Hmmm… lefty again. Can he play the right side. His production looks to have nose dived this year.
Yeah he can. Seravalli is on and he said Anaheim would retain to move Fowler and that he's still a gifted skater that has a lot more to give. It's believed that, with Anaheim puttin gin younger Dmen, it's decreased Fowlers role and it seems like he just wants a fresh start somewhere

LMAO

An aging, somewhat fragile left defenseman making 6.5 million, whose defensive stats have cratered over the last 3 years.

Doesn't seem like a great(or even good) fit.
Not according to what Seravalli said. Anaheim wants to retain on him and want him to have a fresh start. His role has decreased, according to Seravalli, because Ducks management want to play younger players more. He said that Fowler is still a very gifted skater and still has a lot more to give. Just needs a fresh start

Fowler is an interesting option. The question is does his play revitalize on a better team and more motivation, or is his reduced performance due to regression and age. This is where you hope your pro scouts are worth a lick.

Guess I’m checking out some Ducks games soon.

NYR with some ruthless management. And it lead to them getting rid of an $8M albatross without much trouble.. crazy.

His year over year stats in Anaheim have some red flags. Same team, worse performance. Hm.

It was always going to be a thin market this year. The part that worries me is that he hasn't played meaningful hockey for 6 years. We don't actually know at all if he has more to give at his age.

Defintely have some worries about him, but his upside on a better team and reduced role could be good. At 50% retained, he might be an interesting option, but definitely not without risk.

I think its more due to his role decreasing due to the younger players. But I could be wrong. If we do go for him, I hope our pro scouts are right

Smaller role this year though

Just in general, I don’t mind the activity level we are seeing from JJ/Bowman. He’s making lots of bets and we don’t know how they will pay off yet. But atleast he isn’t afraid to pick up the phone.
