Brown, Arvidsson, Perry (hell Henrique) there are a lot of options, and that LW1 is mostly open, see what he can do. It's not setting him up to fail, imo, because McDavid does all the lifting, it's seeing how he looks when given a shot.

I think they learned their lesson with how they handled Holloway.
It's just really redundant with the forwards they already have. Another skilled oriented winger that is small? Maybe if they didn't sign both Jeff Skinner and Arvdisson it would work.
I mean if you just measure them, totally. But he's a very fast, smart and skilled player who's got a very good two-way game. The team could use more responsible speed and skill in it.
With respect to Holloway, Savoie is much more skilled
Savoie isn't really just a skill player. He plays with lots of jam and wins a lot more board battles than he loses.
I'm certainly leaning that way as well, the top-4 gets very dynamic with karlsson added to it
He also does everything at high speed
The Oilers aren’t small… at all and Savoie is a pretty well rounded player.
