$10M+ likely what he will earn.

It's not so much that I'm stubborn as much as you guys only use recency bias to make calls on players.

Bouchard's last game leaves so much to be desired, but he's the best defenseman on the team and he's miles better than Nurse, it's not even f***ing close.

He has his style of play, and I get you want him to be something else, but he's not, he's Evan Bouchard. You either realize what he is and understand the elite talent, or he's another guy run out of town, and then we have endless conversations about running him out of town.

No, it's absolute lie and this is doubling down on that lie for the lolz?
Edmonton fans have always had issues with puck moving defensemen dating all the way the Paul Coffey. Org analytically and observationally- Nurse isn’t even playing in the same league as Bouchard. People taking insane pills here

Nurse has been better than Bouchard.
Noo. Not even close. Dumbest thing I’ve read all day.

Bouchard
SF% 62%
GF% 70%
XGF% 61.05
Scf% 59.51
hDcF 62%

Nurse

Sf% 50
GF% 38
Xg% 48
SCF% 49
HDCF% 50

Nurse has been better than last year- but he isn’t close to what Bouchard is. Bouch is doing this while you say he is playing bad…loll

How about a whacky idea like a defensive defenseman that can move the puck?

Seems like Bob is one of those old school guys that thinks a puck-mover only comes in the form of Paul Coffey even though there's players like Tanev that are leading the league in zone exit metrics.
Been saying this for the last two years.

The only way j Skinner gets moved is if he asks for it. And the way knoblauch has been using him, who would blame him for asking.

Not necessarily true. There are many examples of players waiving when the team asks. The way he's moving up and down a lineup, I don't see why he'd say no to a playoff bound team needing a top-6 fwd. I think his #1 priority is playing playoff games, I'm not sure it matters as much on which team.

Skinner has been disappointing. We need production. Hes not providing it and can't seem to get in on the forecheck and recover pucks, seems to fall a lot. Which is surprising and doesn't have the intensity of a younger speedier aggressive forward. You can't win playing passive hockey. We already have the kings of passive hockey in RNH and Bouchard. We can't have more guys like that.

He's has the most points of any forward thats not 29 or 97, and according to you he's the problem?

What about the other top nine forwards? Mostly Hyman, RNH, and Ardvisson they all share the blame in this lethargic offense.

Disagree with this post. Its kinda obvious why they are less sharp lol. Foegele whose best attribute was getting the puck off the half wall and Mcleod whose speed allowed him to get the puck half the time with no battle are gone. Your bull in the china shope(rem murray with skill and potential) is gone ( Yes Broberg should have been traded a year ago but they should have ante'd up to keep Holloway).

Maybe Woodcroft didn't know how to institute a 1-3-1 and we didn't have the players. Maybe Knob knows how BUT he didn't even try to run one here. He changed back to a more offensive system less than 2 - 3 games in.
Good grief, what an awful take. McLeod and Foegele are nothing burgers.

McLeod would be third on our team in points, but who cares right? And no he doesn't play PP on the sabres and yes he is the 3C.

Prioritizing Henrique over him was just another massive mistake from Jackson.

Wuss and nothing burger? Seriously, are you 12?

Who cares what happens in three years?
You do realize that the NHL season's continue after this year. You have to take care of the future as well as today. When a team offers a recent top 10 pick for your 4C you take it all day.

So we hope that Savoie becomes at least what McLeod was for us right? And by when?

Going to bat on McLeod because of his numbers in Buffalo has no bearing whatsoever on what he was here.

Bush league insult btw, game on.

Replacement? Nothing in the pipeline, nobody’s going to trade their starter to us… you could try supporting him.
Did the Canucks and Leafs get starter goalies traded to them? I think you guys are so traumatized by Campbell you think constant sub 900 goaltending and minus GSAE is normal.

Like I said we called a goalie up who has been buried in the AHL for half a decade and he’s been better than Skinner.

I should support him? You dump on everything and everyone in this organization except skinner.

I’m not talking about those teams, I’m talking about us. If Pickard is better than Skinner why isn’t he the starter?

I dump on bad organizational decisions which this team is well known for over the years. There’s a reason why this team hasn’t won a Cup in over three decades.

The point is you can find better goaltending than skinner without trading for a teams starter hence why I used examples of Canucks and Leafs…

And that’s a good question.

You’re trusting the teams’ scouts to do that. Apropos of nothing, are the ones that targeted Campbell still around? The only name that seems to be out there is Blackwood.

So what was McLeod at his most recent for us? There we were playing for the Stanley Cup and over and over he wouldn’t sacrifice himself for the team, he put his own personal safety first. Did you watch? Do you remember?
