So does Lavoie go back to being a bum prospect?
I think he might have had a chance to stick if he didn't get hurt in the latter part of camp.
An Oiler favourite.Lavoie is now officially a reclaimation project.
I’m pretty sure the point is Holloway preferred to earn 2.5 million instead of less. The point is Holloway could have been signed for less than 2.5 if they didn't prioritize guys like Jeff Skinner.
So there is a point, whether you agree with it or not.
Until he proves otherwise, yes. He's still a B level prospect with a very outside shot of making an impact at the NHL level. Only difference now, is I hope he does it here, and I hoped he didn't in Vegas (because screw Vegas, nothing personal with Lavoie). So does Lavoie go back to being a bum prospect?
Great... now I have to regurgitate that crow I ate.
Well, the Oilers don't show up on Mike Richter or Brian Leetch's stat history and we had them for like, a day each as well. He never played a game for Vegas, so he isn't going to show up on stat sheets. Here's a question: Will Lavoie's stint in Vegas show up in the stats and history books? If 20 years from now he retires as an Oiler, will he be considered a career Oiler technically?

Idk maybe he's the next Gordie Howe?20 years??
He’s my favourite player and only player that I have a signed jersey of, so I can accept the high standard to aim for.Idk maybe he's the next Gordie Howe?
