Good buy low candidate IMO. We can't pay full ticket for an impact forward, goalie and D, so we will have to get some value adds too. He fits that mold IMO.

A lot of the other names out there like - Eberle maybe, Carrick sucks, Kunin sucks, Marc Staal is kind ass...I'd be maybe okay taking on Bogosian, he's fine as a 7.

Henrique is a weird fit, another C and another C mind you who is somewhat defensively absent. I think someone overpays for him.

Laughton is an eye test guy whose fancy numbers suggest overrated - not sure he's the answer either, another C. On a hot streak right now.

Nuge and McLeod are not effective centres. Their best games are played on the wings, and that will matter more in the playoffs. That’s why Henrique and Giroux have a lot of appeal.

Matt Roy would be an interesting Ceci replacement as a ufa in the summer but I think he’ll have alot of interest and likely be out of our price range.

Fabbro is who I think they should target, he’s such a smart defender with a very calm game. Doesn’t make a lot of mistakes but he always leaves you wanting more especially in the offensive zone. I think he could be a really reliable top 4 D in the near future that you could extend at a decent number, just a big gamble if he can do it this year on a contender.
