Edmonton should just fill their 3 RHC hole with Michael McLeod at this point, we are the scuzz. So long as we are scuzz from top to bottom I don’t see how we can be too proud to hire a 3C for league minimum that solves all our problems. Well - all I will say is that there is precious little recent evidence that he is a good coach and that I hope you are right about him not being able to do all the stupid shit he has a history of doing.

Look they are going to likely get a new coach bump with just about any half decent coach. They got one under Tippett, they got one under Woodcroft, they got a massive one under Knoblauch/Coffey.

This group gets a jolt from that.

Management has a lot of work to do, if they want to keep have summers of Frederics and Mangiapanes, no coach is going to fix all that.

A couple of years ago I really loved him as an option, but Kane is basically a PP producer at this point. I don't think he cracks the top 6, and I don't see him really making sense in a bottom 6 with no PP time. I'd be mildly interested if he would take $1,000,000 and a fourth line role, but I assume there will be better fits for him.
