Oh to make millions of dollars every year while becoming an incompetent f***wit.Friedman: Full no move clauses for both Arvidsson and Henrique.

Those guys are all at the back end of their aging curve while the guys we got rid of were either in their primes or entering it. Skinner and Henrique were playing elevated minutes on Buffalo and Anaheim. You've watched Henrique all season, him palying 18 minutes as 2nd line C in Anaheim with top 6 wingers was the reason he scored 20 goals, but the also one of the reasons Anaheim sucked. Skinner to me is still a decent NHL player but there's a stylistic issue with him. Remember how we used to complain that Mcleod and Foegele were all speed possession and no finish? He would fit like a fiddle on a line with those two this year with his net front scoring ability. This team needs to start bringing in players who have proven they can succeed in the type of role we are going to give them here.
Jeff Skinner has averaged 16.5 minutes per game his entire career. Comes here and gets 4 minutes less per game
Arvidsson goes from 16.5 minutes his entire career to 14.5
Henrique goes from 17.5 his entire career to just over 14
In hindsight it’s no surprise they have struggled in reduced roles.
Remember when Friedman use to be an insider? It took Jeff Jackson to release this for people to know wtf is going onFriedman: Full no move clauses for both Arvidsson and Henrique.
At this point I’d be fine with Mrazek, I can’t stand Skinner another minute. Schwartz might not have enough time to derail him.Bring on Dustin Schwartz's next project: Petr Mrazek!
Friedman: Full no move clauses for both Arvidsson and Henrique.
Sure maybe he decides to let them know he’s not resigning in the summer but a mid season trade request before a playoff run is ridiculous.
I never said it was. I said I wouldn't be surprised if he did.Instead of being purposely obtuse, you could address what the poster was really asking: “how you do you know it’s McDavid that asked for the trade”
Way to stir up shit and act like it’s nothing. Lmao
Mrazek is legitimately the worst goalie in the league. At this point I’d be fine with Mrazek, I can’t stand Skinner another minute. Schwartz might not have enough time to derail him.
I would be completely mind blown tbh haha.I agree it would be ridiculous to demand a trade. But it wouldn't surprise me. I also think it would be more like a "I'm not re-signing here and I would like to go elsewhere for a season before FA" rather than a full on "get me the hell out of here".
Again, I agree it's outlandish. But would you honestly be that surprised?
I never said it was. I said I wouldn't be surprised if he did.
Maybe you should be less obtuse, and read what I actually wrote. Nobody knows who it was, if the rumor is even true. Follow along and you won't get so emotional.
Bring on Dustin Schwartz's next project: Petr Mrazek!
TLDR:
What the Oilers plan to do for trade deadline relies on whatever happens with Kane.
Kane stays = dollar in dollar out.
Kane traded = more cap space to use.
Welp.
You can’t help but laugh. Their entire season flushed because of one malcontent. I wish Holland was still here so they could fire him.TLDR:

Friedman basically saying if doctors don’t allow Kane to be cleared before playoffs Oilers can add a significant piece if he is cleared it’s dollar in dollar out. So if Oilers have cap space expect a “significant add” if not it’s likely dollar in dollar out so not much of an add.You can’t help but laugh. Their entire season flushed because of one malcontent. The perfect storm would be the Oilers paying to send Kane to another playoff team. That team LTIRs him until the end of the regular season allowing them to fill his cap space with someone else and he comes back game 1 playoffs healthy as a bird.TLDR:

Is he really worse than moustache though, obviously I haven’t looked up any stats on the guy but Skinner has no value to me whatsoever.Mrazek is legitimately the worst goalie in the league.

Any spending on F or D is effectively a waste of assets if they don’t fix the goaltendingFriedman said EDM wants F with speed and size, D that can play both sides and may do more depending on the Kane situation.

I know…. It’s just sad hahaWe both know that. The management thinks and believes otherwise.
that does seem like something Kane would do.The perfect storm would be the Oilers paying to send Kane to another playoff team. That team LTIRs him until the end of the regular season allowing them to fill his cap space with someone else and he comes back game 1 playoffs healthy as a bird.
Brutal, but Chicago is brutal. Soderstrom looked alright when we played them last. What’s his story?Numbers show Mrazek is 2nd last with only Grubauer being worst
Stauffer: Believes Bowman will be relentless in improving the roster from the bottom up including the AHL, or the 7th-9th dman etc.
(Just seems like a glazing of Bowman if anything)
