Don't blame a guy for not wanting to commit medical fraud.
It shouldn't be an issue but we seem to always get f***ed.That is interesting in that I don't see the real gripe. Vegas didn't even have to get penalized when they wiped their butt with Davydov's NTC.
Isn't it honest to ask for a no-trade list because we want to use his cap space elsewhere? It's up to him to say that he won't be a cap problem by staying on LTIR for the season.
Plus I doubt the team would ever put that suggestion in writing at any point. These shady things are handshake deals
I don’t know if you saw my edit, but I didn’t see Pickard’s name at the bottom of your list and just saw Gibson & Reimer coming in lol![]()
Worked ok for this guy, heh (still rocking the Minnesota pads there I think).
Fair, but then could we blame him for taking so long to get the surgery and then basically f***ing his team? If he got it earlier and could return around now he could be seen as a big addition to the team. If he returns with a week left in the season we are pooched.Don't blame a guy for not wanting to commit medical fraud.
Is it though? The timeline for coming back from an injury isn't set in stone. With the timing this tight, we are talking about him taking a few weeks of extra rehab and prep. It's not months. So this is just about Kane's preference. The rehab wouldn't be fake or pointlessDon't blame a guy for not wanting to commit medical fraud.

And making sure that he's fully healthy so that he has no set backs. Is it though? The timeline for coming back from an injury isn't set in stone. With the timing this tight, we are talking about him taking a few weeks of extra rehab and prep. It's not months. So this is just about Kane's preference
It is fraud cause he has to tell his medical team he is in pain still. Some guys have integrity. Others play for Vegas. Is it though? The timeline for coming back from an injury isn't set in stone. Ideally we'd be 3 NHL goalies deep. Look at Vegas the year that they won it all as an example of that.Yeah I realized I hadn't traded Pickard, so I guess he and Reimer can battle for the back up spot. Probably not a bad thing to have more insurance at that position anyway.
I mean do we expect him to be 100% pain free when he returns though? It is fraud cause he has to tell his medical team he is in pain still. Some guys have integrity. Others play for Vegas.
I was listening to a podcast when they played itWhy do you guys listen to interviews from the players? They’re meaningless. Stop doing it.
He hasn't had 1 practice and has yet to skate with the team. He will be most likely ready by the end of March. So he wants ruin the Oilers TDL plans to show up for the last 9 games of the season? Ohhh that is really noble of Kane. Give me a break.Don't blame a guy for not wanting to commit medical fraud.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there no real standard for returning? If it is pain, how much pain? A lot of injuries will never be 100% and will even have pain, but some players will want to play through it. Others want to be truly 100% to be back. And, pain isn't even the required measure. I'd say the odds of Kane having absolutely no reminder of his injury lingering around as near zero, especially at his age. So this is likely about his preference. It is fraud cause he has to tell his medical team he is in pain still. Some guys have integrity. Others play for Vegas.
With how long he has been gone, yes. At this point he is probably mostly pain free and the rest of the rehab is just getting back into shape and getting his body back into itI mean do we expect him to be 100% pain free when he returns though?
Lol, it’s not even close to any type of fraud whatsoeverDon't blame a guy for not wanting to commit medical fraud.
Only if it was that simpleGet rid of Kane, Skinner, Arvidsson, RNH. Get Alex Tuch and a G
Hopefully you're right at this is some really deep deep strats by the org and Kane. Fingers crossed. I guess we will find out in 6 days.Listen to them all the time. All they do is speculate.
To an extent. But if he wants to be effective at all when he returns he is going to need to play some games. If not the Kane we get back is going to be a 4th liner.Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there no real standard for returning? If it is pain, how much pain? Exactly.Lol, it’s not even close to any type of fraud whatsoever
I'm not so sure about that but I can't say 100% that I'm right or wrong so it is what it is I guess. With how long he has been gone, yes. At this point he is probably mostly pain free and the rest of the rehab is just getting back into shape and getting his body back into it
Either an AHL conditioning stint or practicing with the team. Probably best to keep from full contact until he's just about ready to play. Hernia's are no joke.To an extent. But if he wants to be effective at all when he returns he is going to need to play some games. If not the Kane we get back is going to be a 4th liner.
If his contract is insured it’s insurance fraud.Lol, it’s not even close to any type of fraud whatsoever
