Im surprised at how much it only took to get Nyqvist. He had 75 points last yearWhat do you mean?

Just because he's a shiny new toy doesn't mean he's ready. He did look really good thoNo Savoie again. They have a top six winger who is fast and ready to play but won’t even give him more then 2 games

So we need to pray for a 10-9 win where Pickard gives up 9 goals on 15 shots?Friedman also said Oilers have discussed goaltending and, because of Gibson's healthy issues, it seems unlikely.
He didn't say no though. If Pickards pulls a Skinner tonight, we may go for one
Yeah but it was an outlier of a season....Im surprised at how much it only took to get Nyqvist. He had 75 points last year
it's year after year lol, i've been reading the same shit since 2009 on these boardsI didn’t realize the trade deadline was over.
This overreaction is pathetic and getting old.
Yeah I agree with you but I'm looking at it a different way. Nyqvist is a 40-50 points scorer usually. He had 75 points last year. This year, he's on a terrible team who can't score. Don't you think it would cost more? Colorado gave up quite a bit for Lindgren and VeseyThats what i thought. Not surprised you think it's a win for Minnesota.
They paid a 2nd round pick for a guy who has 21 points this year. That's the same production Podkolzin and J.Skinner have. I dont know about you but I would take a 2nd for either of those players. Minnesota overpaid and Nashville wins this deal.
Bouchard was no outlier. He's going to get 55-60 points this yearYeah but it was an outlier of a season....
Like Nuge, Like Bouchard. They happen
Nyquist is not a 75 point guy.
Let's trade for Dan Vladar
Can’t believe I finally have agreed with dan fricken tencer
The Canes are in a much better position to make that trade. Better situated now and in the offseason both capwise and rosterwise. The Canes will trade for him and the Oilers media excuse machine will go into overdrive for this pathetic org.
Not shooting the messenger…holy motherf***ing rottting corpses, one good game from Pickard does not absolve them from getting a better goalie. Friedman is just a jabrony at this point.Friedman also said Oilers have discussed goaltending and, because of Gibson's healthy issues, it seems unlikely.

35-12 in shots…glad we weren’t the only Alberta team to hit up the Florida nightlife this past week.Dude is putting up the game of his life
Pickard lets in the first 3 shots, gets pulled, Skinner lets in the first 6 shots, 2 called back for off-sides.. Oilers win 8-7..So we need to pray for a 10-9 win where Pickard gives up 9 goals on 15 shots?
I’d be straight up lying if that didn’t cross my mind too but for me, that is option D-ish for me right now.Let's trade for Dan Vladar

Who’s paying his salary has nothing to do with this. It’s when it is deemed he is ready to play. Kucherov was in full practice mode 2 months before the playoffs. No one is saying defraud insurance.Who is paying his salary? Unless you know that, you can't make this claim at all. An insurer would be all over this if they thought they were being defrauded lol.
If this management group makes decisions based on one game- they are dumber than I thoughtFriedman also said Oilers have discussed goaltending and, because of Gibson's healthy issues, it seems unlikely.

Oilers are situated just fine in the off season to make that trade with the guaranteed cap jump. The Canes are in a much better position to make that trade. Better situated now and in the offseason both capwise and rosterwise.
I have to agree. The deadline is next week. Nothing between now and then will change a single thing, apart from a trade target getting injured. A great game or two is nothingNot shooting the messenger…holy motherf***ing rottting corpses, one good game from Pickard does not absolve them from getting a better goalie. Friedman is just a jabrony at this point.

Plus there is cap space to be created if we need it. ie walking from Jeff Skinner or making other trades.Oilers are situated just fine in the off season to make that trade with the guaranteed cap jump.
Kane gone for the rest of the regular season. May return for the playoffs according to Jeff Jackson.

Finally! Hockey boss gives clarity to Evander Kane's injury situation

To be fair, JJ said this on the 26th..Holy f*** finally. Guess the trade threat made it through Kane’s granite head and he realized rehabbing here was better than some random city for the next few months at least.
Now on to the more important stuff. Stan surely had a goalie trade lined up in the event he was given all this cap space… right Stan?
