There's your younger 6'3" right-shot centerman
Good fit with Frederic too
There's your younger 6'3" right-shot centerman
They play in STL.SOR is not ready. Him AND Savoie is a bad idea on a roster looking to compete for a cup.
Youth on the team? Broberg and Holloway say hi
What are you talking about. You never make senseThey play in STL.
And you're right.
They're no Lekkerimaki, guys.
Same thing with Skinner. I posted an interview with Dennis King where he nailed it. He saidThanks for telling me i should never consider anything you say seriously.
Didnt work out? The oilers failed him lmfao he had hyman level 5v5 points per 60 lmfao carrying himself! He shoulda had a spot with mcdrai all season long all playoffs long lmfao it was like krissy KNOB-LOCK just hated him. Just decided "the gm wanted you, but i dont like you"
I wish Chiarelli did that. Those first 5 years of his career probably would have went much better.Maybe our top players need to worry about just being top players and stop pretending to be GM’s.
Does McDavid need to be consulted on who the scouts are, who drives the team bus and flies the charter plane as well? You’d think it’d be exhausting always having management coming to you on every goddam personnel move this team thinks of making.
“Jeff, Anaheim wants to trade us Gibson at 50% retained for 2027 1st”
“Let me call Connor”
Chiarelli did that…when he traded for the guy who said he purposely injured Connor.I wish Chiarelli did that. Those first 5 years of his career probably would have went much better.
I don't know it seems like our general managers over the years can use all the help they can get. No fan was handing out a contract of 9.25 to Nurse or running it back again with Skinner/Pickard etc etc
Yeah let's go ask the players who one of suggested Campbell makes sense. On this morning's 32 Thoughts Podcast:
- Edmonton and Arvidsson working together to find a landing spot. Nobody is knifing each other on the way out. It didn't work out, it's time to move on.
- Touched on goaltending, how Jake Allen is the best on the UFA market, so that would lead us to exploring trade options. Talked about going to our top players and asking what they think about such and such as an option.
- "I also do think there's a decent chance Kapanen stays" - Friedman
So let's dick around on another top forward prospect is your solution? Literally just lost the two you ended your post with for the exact same reason.SOR is not ready. Him AND Savoie is a bad idea on a roster looking to compete for a cup.
Youth on the team? Broberg and Holloway say hi
I think it’s unfortunate how it all turned out. I thought between him and skinner we added two top 6 players with a good pedigree for scoring. On this morning's 32 Thoughts Podcast:

This is likely true but neither the management nor the players would want that to be leaked out public. With all due respect it's pretty naive to think that top players, especially elite franchise players, don't get consulted on team direction in all sports really.
Immensely "skilled" hockey player, not a "good" hockey playerWhat is the story on this guy? Is it just immature attitudes
I’m sure I’ve seen multiple times that McDavid was not happy they didn’t get matched. This is likely true but neither the management nor the players would want that to be leaked out public.
Not a great look on McD if Oilers not matching Holloway decision can be linked to him.
They're willing to retain salary because they're trying to offload one of the worst goalies in the league this past decade after an outlier bounceback season and give the net to Dostal. Not because they actually need the cap space. John Gibson unretained has the value of a negative first round pick, possibly lower.I should've checked their cap space sorry. But, Anaheim is willing to retain salary according to David Pagnotta.

McDavid was not happy that the offersheets were signed while many others took discounts to stay.I’m sure I’ve seen multiple times that McDavid was not happy they didn’t get matched.
depends on what he wants and if Henrique is willing to waive his NMC.We should be all over this guy.
McDavid played Holloway pretty hard when the Oilers play St. Louis so I doubt itI’m sure I’ve seen multiple times that McDavid was not happy they didn’t get matched.
His QO was 2.5M so maybe he signs with the Oilers for 1.5M x 2?depends on what he wants and if Henrique is willing to waive his NMC.
Meanwhile McDavid's idea of "discounts" Adam Henrique at 3 million and Mattias Janmark at 1.45 million lol.McDavid was not happy that the offersheets were signed while many others took discounts to stay.
I have read nothing that states he wanted them matched. I dont think he cared much for Broberg anyway.
