If they can add a depth damn and Toffoli I would be absolutely fine with that. A top 6 of McDavid, Draisaitl, Hyman, RNH, Toffoli and a rotation of Kane, McLeod, Foegle and Henrique (for 2nd line wing) is pretty damn solid.
If Knoblauch wants to play McDrai then even a set 2nd line of RNH, Toffoli and Kane would be pretty damn good.

Colin Miller and Toffoli both @ 50% can fit if the Oilers send down Holloway and return Brown in the trade.

I dislike Edmundson with a damn passion but would rather have him over that random plug in Brown. Who in the right mind would trade for a guy who has a 40% xGF at 5v5 and last year was on the ice for 52 5v5 GA playing only 12 mins a night. Good grief.

Truthfully I think the forward group is fine. They can't go into the playoffs with the same d-core that skunked them last year. Especially with the same goalie that collapsed last year in the playoffs.

Still have two days to go but Holland has done a great job so far bringing in a guy like Perry at league min, then adding a reliable, skilled veteran like Henrique and a right shot 4C with a motor who’s physical, can pk and win a faceoff.

You’d hope to get that Ceci upgrade before the deadline but sometimes the deals not out there. He was after probably the best option in Tanev but it’s likely Flames didn’t want to deal with Oilers, he was looking at Carrier and maybe still is if Nashville isn’t completely closed for business. Rumoured to be in on Walker but a 1st to go from Ceci to Walker is one of your best assets on a gamble that a guy could be marginally better.

I’d like to see him make a push for Provorov, he would really solidify our top 4, other wise keep talking to Preds about one of Carrier or Fabbro, preferably the first one.

Give it time next year Bourgault, Lavoie, Broberg could all be big difference makers up here.
