I've hated the Leafs and Flames my whole life. With a real passion. But I think my hate for Vegas has now surpassed that level. I want to play them in the first round and be the team that eliminates them. I think our boys would be highly motivated for the task.

I have hated Vegas from the first day they arrived in the NHL.
It was clear that the League created an entry process that benefited Vegas. No other entry draft prior to the Vegas draft benefited the teams coming into the League in the same way.
The entry draft guidelines were altered just for them so they could have a contending team right from the get go.
There is no doubt in my mind that when their owner approached Bettman one of his stipulations was that if they buy in to the NHL then they must be able to start with a team that can compete right away. Bettman agreed and now here we are. The League seems to look the other way whenever it involves Vegas.
LTIR is a perfect example.
I would be elated if they end up getting knocked out in the first round.

Just to note. The Oilers have room to add Guentzal (or a similarly priced player) at 75% with no moves needed other than sending Holloway down.

The Oilers and NHL hockey are a pass time to me, just an interest and a small part of my life so I’d never get so upset over hockey trades to the point that I’d go on angry, child like tirades where I yell the same thing over and over again on the internet. I enjoy being a fan and following the game, love the energy of cup runs and always hope to see them win but if they don’t I don’t take their failures to heart. Just like to enjoy the ride and not get angry about what I think the team should or shouldn’t do.

But hey I’m not perfect either and I do get emotional about stupid things, like how I can get violently angry over a bad golf shot to the point where my blood boils and I want to scream out the worst, most offensive things I can think of and hurl all my clubs one by one as far as I can until my bags empty. But I don’t do that either, I just bottle all that shit up and bury it deep down like an adult.
