Holy shit, what a rollercoaster of a day. Holland needs to upgrade on Ceci. I don't care about Buchnevich, our forwards can hang with anyone just on the backs of our big 4. Nurse has shown his brain turns off in high pressure games, and Ceci is just not good enough to cover. Desharnais will get eaten alive in the top 4 in a playoff paced game. And even if both of Vinny and Ceci were good enough to hold their own, GOOD defensive depth is always valuable.

None of Holloway, Broberg or XB are progressing, dump them now to keep up with the arms race and upgrade the roster where EVERYONE is saying you should, you stubborn old man. Give them all up for the next Ekholm for all I care. Find a way to dump Campbell if you need to, but this D will be our downfall if we don't make an improvement, and not just a #7 who may not even play a playoff game.

We don't have that agression about moving players if we think they have given their optimum already.

I said it numerous times before.

Once we get any player on term, that's it. He is here for life or a UFA and leaves. We don't just tinker and make trades within a year. On the other side as well, we are a good team, so good teams don't make a lo tof trades usually. Besides Vegas.

In all honesty even with Vegas potentially circumventing the cap I don't know that I'm actually afraid of them. I think people are forgetting how much puck luck they got last year, how poor Woody's man to man D structure was, and how close we actually were to beating them. You take out the game changing soft penalty into the puck over the glass 5 on 3 that swung game 5 and the Oilers had a very good chance of coming out on top of that series.

Adin Hill is starting to show some serious holes in his game of late. Wouldn't be the first goalie to have an elite stretch of hockey out of nowhere and then have his game fall apart. Happened with Binnington.

Wanna see us add a bit more, but if we don't I still like this team and think they can compete and beat any team in a 7 game series if they play well.
