This. Just like Chicago/Tampa Hagel tradeMaybe it's just about maximizing value. 2 cup runs at 50% should net a 1st, top prospect, and another pick

Come on, Holland.
I'm a little surprised at 50% they haven't gotten that return.Seravalli said on his daily pod today they're willing to retain 50% ($2.9 caphit) but the ask is a 1st & 1st equivalent. For us would be Broberg 2025 1st + Foegele.
Would be bold for Holland to trade 2x1sts this deadline and have a hard time believing he trades Broberg.
But I'd do it.
Byram is bad, he's becoming Matt Dumba 2.0.Byram is a absolute stud I’m so shocked Avs traded him, they really going to miss him
I'd do it in a heartbeat. I have zero attachment to our picks and prospects. Maybe if we drafted better...Seravalli said on his daily pod today they're willing to retain 50% ($2.9 caphit) but the ask is a 1st & 1st equivalent. For us would be Broberg 2025 1st + Foegele.

It's gonna be Edmundson isn't it lol.

It isn't worth it to pay that to moderately improve on Foegele, who is a playoff-type forward himself.Seravalli said on his daily pod today they're willing to retain 50% ($2.9 caphit) but the ask is a 1st & 1st equivalent. For us would be Broberg 2025 1st + Foegele.

I would do this trade so fast and so often the NHL's email server would crash.
Which makes me think the cost is more than that.
The difference between Buch and Foegele is 1st, top prospect and then some. Plus you get another year from Buch. Foegele is going to walk.It isn't worth it to pay that to moderately improve on Foegele, who is a playoff-type forward himself.
We have improved depth this season with the addition of Henrique. IMO we're going to see improvements from some unexpected areas of the roster.
Plus foegele just isn't a very smart player. If you can upgrade do itThe difference between Buch and Foegele is 1st, top prospect and then some. Plus you get another year from Buch. Foegele is going to walk.

The org apparently is super high on Broberg and think he is the second coming of Jesus or something (or so my buddy says) so I don’t think they are willing to move him at all.Seravalli said on his daily pod today they're willing to retain 50% ($2.9 caphit) but the ask is a 1st & 1st equivalent. Again you spelled Colton’s name wrong let me help PARAYKOThe Blues are on a road trip in the New York area and the Oilers are in Columbus then Buffalo Saturday. Kenny can afford to squeeze in a power nap this afternoon with it being a short flight for Buchnevic.![]()
If Foegele plays a North South game he's very good.P

I’ve been touting him as the final solution for the Oilers D for months. I’d be very happy with that! Even posted today about getting deep into Buchnevic talks then telling the Blues we’d need Parayko instead if they want their preferred assets. Ceci and Foegele out would work with the cap also. Wouldn’t need any retention on Parayko.Again you spelled Colton’s name wrong let me help PARAYKO![]()

Buch is closer to Draisaitl than he is FoegeleCalling it 'moderately' between Foegele and Buchnevich is extremely wrong.
There's a huge difference for both players and Buchnevich is more than just a moderate improvement over Foegele.
