It looks like a Kulikov trade is coming. It's funny to me because I was always pushing for us to trade for Barrie for years, and Kulikov was another I always liked. And we need LHD apparently so it's like my dream of 4 years ago come true.

Is 3.38 enough for Hall.?

Well maybe if he can bunk with Leonard.

Holy overeation. Step off the ledge, it'll be OK!

I don’t think you know what you are saying. What part of my post indicated I was on the ledge? I am saying the logical thing in response to your post. Quit playing- give the cup to the best record now. Prepare for next year.

Sorry I have no info about it. He's being traded somewhere, not necessarily Oilers. So I should have said "if we got Kulikov" sorry again lol I know people are touchy now
All good! Thought maybe you had seen something.

The only thing to really add to this is Holland said he needs to keep enough capspace for Koekkoek when he is healthy so he will keep at least 800k in space.

Why would he bring him back before the playoffs? Does this guy not understand the game at all?

Lol I hope he is telling teams that for leverage. Because in real life, if he had a clue, he'd do like Tampa and let Koekkoek's first game back be game 1 of the first round

If you want to interpret 'lets not give up big assets for rentals' as 'quit playing' and 'give up', that's up to you I guess. Seems like a bit of an overreaction but to each their own.
Do you legitimately think, with our goaltending, defence and depth at forward that we have a chance against Tampa/Carolina or Colorado/Vegas?

I do think Holland is active, I'm just not sure if the name will be exciting for you guys tomorrow.

The talk around here realistically should be whether you pay for Hoffman, because Hall isn't happening.

As long as its a legitimate top 6 forward, I'll be satisfied. I'm tired of seeing the likes of Kahun, Shore, or Ennis on the top 6. McDrai need help.

Didn't take long for another oilers media shrill to mention the same crap.
(Doesn't realize the oilers have 3.38 in cap)

What isn't he realizing? That $3.38m in space is there because the Oilers have a short roster. If you're taking Holland at his word, he doesn't want to trade draft picks. So who of value are the Oilers throwing out at teams for impactful skaters?

Mete is on waivers right now so Jones doesn't look overly attractive. Unless you're selling low on Bear, we've got an abundance of players who've cleared waivers this season populating our bottom six. Benson and Marody are probably our big pieces being offered right now and they need to be protected from Seattle before they become eligible for waivers next season.

The Oilers need to get multiple teams to retain salary and that has cost two teams multiple picks this far for arguably lesser players.

Do you want the Oilers to have zero draft picks this year?
