Edit: This may not be NHL related. My apologies.
The NAHL is USA Hockey's Tier II junior hockey league with over 350 NCAA commitments every season and over 1,500 active alumni in the NCAA.
NAHL is the equivalent of Junior B in Canada, expansion is odd given they are going to lose guys to the USHL (roster spots will open up now that players can play in the CHL and still be eligible to play in the NCAA)
To say it's the equivalent of Junior B in Canada is not accurate. The average NAHL team has more NCAA commits than the average team in any Canadian Junior A league except for the BCHL.
It's a tier below the USHL, which is the equivalent of Junior A in Canada. Therefore it's the equivalent of Junior B in terms of tiers.
Of course it's going to have more NCAA commits given it's located in the United States., where players are more likely to play college hockey than major junior.
USHL is better than the Q and on similar level to dub and O. NAHL is much closer to BCHL than it is to Junior B. 25 current NHLers by my count on elite prospects with BCHL experience and 32 from the NAHL.It's a tier below the USHL, which is the equivalent of Junior A in Canada. Therefore it's the equivalent of Junior B in terms of tiers.

You're right, if a USHL team played against an OHL team and a WHL team at the same time they'd get obliterated. But 10 vs 5 hardly seems fair. Rink sure will be crowded though. If the USHL played five game series against both the OHL and the WHL, they would get obliterated into another dimension….it wouldn’t even be close….perhaps they could hang with the Q which has always been a more offensive league with little mind paid to keeping puck out of one’s own end..
Then I guess you’ll assume that’s what I meant….because somehow and someway it irked you to such a drastic degree for someone to ensue that the USHL isn’t anywhere close to the level of play of the W or the OHL….I stand by my point that it’s wishful thinking that the USHL is on par with either league. Feel free to take things out of context all day…You're right, if a USHL team played against an OHL team and a WHL team at the same time they'd get obliterated. But 10 vs 5 hardly seems fair. Rink sure will be crowded though.
I have to assume that's what you meant, because it's insane to take your hyperbole seriously otherwise.
