Wish the Lesnar rivalry never happened or at least lost to Lesnar (so Lesnar could remain undefeated or what ever)
Was actually looking forward to HHH vs Rollins, maybe next year, if they don't go with the Shield Triple Threat
Seth/HHH was slow burning for so long. It sucks we don't have that payoff. Same with Seth/Roman, its two years now waiting for the Shield to gets its full payoff.
As for the show. I did like it. The undercard was really good outside of the US Title botch fest and a crappy finish for the women (the match, not the Sasha part...that was awesome).
Rumble match itself had its ups(AJ, everything involving KO, Truth, Brock destroying, most everything involving Bray) and downs (Roman napping in the back, Brock's elimination being booked weird, the finish) but overall was better then the last two, but that isn't saying much. It ended in rather predictable fashion again, and in one of the two predicted finishes most people didn't want.
It set some stuff up. Roman/HHH for the title is a given now. Brock/Bray seems a given as well. They could still pull the eject button at Fastlane, but this seems locked in pretty tight.
Other stuff is muddled though. Mostly where the IC picture goes from here and is KO still in it? If not is he feuding with Styles? Sami (is he even staying up?). Answers will come, but the match itself teased a lot, but nothing concrete yet.
Women have a clear path. Guessing Nikki got bad news about her neck since they sent Sasha out there in what seems will be her coronation at WM (most likely over Charlotte).
US Title...who knows since they keep hot shotting it. Tag Titles seems to be more Usos/New Day and maybe we get our triangle ladder match at Mania if Sin Cara is healed up.
My biggest take away is this feels like a huge missed opportunity PPV. They had a good deal of suspense with the new stipulation. Rumors galore about the new incoming talent, and lots of guys who are over who seemed ready for a push.
Instead they seemed to go the safe and obvious route. Just seemed like a missed and wasted opportunity. I can't fault them for telling the HHH/Roman story as they are telling it for the most part correctly, but it doesn't need the belt, and it should't really IMO.
Easily could of told this HHH/Roman story at mania without the belt, and gave someone new the super push. Bray, KO, Dean, etc. Or went way of the wall and unveiled Bullet Club (most likely not everyone is signed and cleared yet). Could of changed the landscape or really started to make new stars and get fresh feuds going, and just doesn't seem that was done.
Good PPV as far as in the ring action. Disappointing for the long term and what the Road to Wrestlemania seems to look like.
