hope he pans out. Really like his story, his style, and his name
Yes, this was about getting him his bonus money to help his family while he develops. Family oriented organization (mostly). One of the many things I love about this team. The contract slides for two years. He’ll be in the OHL.
Can I trust you? Would you ever lie to me?Guest here.
I had him early/mid 2nd round on my draft list.
I can't believe how lucky you got with Zayde Wisdom.
- also, it was weird to see him fall to 4th round
Dude is a beast. Underrated offensive skill to boot.
Charity aside, there's nothing to be gained by signing him this early. It's dumb. If he sucks (as many 4th round picks do), then you're stuck with a wasted roster spot that could have gone to a more deserving player. You would think they'd have learned their lesson with Laberge, but apparently not.Yes, this was about getting him his bonus money to help his family while he develops. What in the world is going on with that yellow coat.
He (and many others) benefitted greatly during that Covid year from the AHL essentially being CHL 2.0 with most of the worthwhile AHL vets toiling on NHL taxi squads.
