We really need to come out with a boatload of energy in the next game. If we can get an early goal or two it will deflate them. I feel an OT game coming.

Plz prove me wrong!

Say what you want about Sather, but he is BOSS :yo:

Hank
McD
Girardi

HM, Kreider for not folding due to the pressure.

Lol the knifing through the defense or a waffle board save is pretty annoying as well.

I don't think there are any accurate play by play guys any longer. I see more of what happened then they do, maybe I am becoming a grumpy old man with really good eye sight. Emrick does suck fwiw.

I absolutely can not stand Doc, Pierre or Eddie. I hate listening to any of them. Is this the best NBC can do? The worst thing is you can tell they don't like the Rangers and sound depressed when we score. Doc pee's his pants at every scoring chance from an opposing team.

I think the best is Kenny Albert son of Marv (I'm saving my voice for the Knicks) Albert

I think it was PK's slapshot that Hank gloved, but Emerick was screaming with delight "SHOT BY SUBBAN", and then a noticeable pause, and then, as if someone just ran over his dog, "...and a save by Lundqvist..." He couldn't be more disappointed.

Honestly, Pierre can be annoying, but he's pretty good. Doc and Eddie are awful though.

At least Pierre knows hockey, Emrick just screams, he's horrible, time to hang'em up...confuses McD and John Moore every shift

94 team were the favorites all year and expected to win it all. This team was expected to be pretty good, maybe not true cup contenders but a team that could maybe make a run. Most people are happy just to be in this position, whereas in 94, anything but winning it all would have been a nonstarter.

There are a lot of pundits and fans who thought this Rangers team was a Cup Contender this year.

Said Lundqvist has been lucky () and that he would like to see his reaction when they put a couple goals by him.

Maybe he should worry about scoring a couple first, then they can worry about how Lundqvist reacts to it. To say he has been lucky is one of the most moronic things I've heard.

I wanted to punch Michelle Terrien through the tv after hearing him whine oh we need breaks and we need calls, shut the **** up. And what did Subban say? I missed it.

Yeah, he made it sound like to win a playoff game you needs bounces and calls and thats it. He's making excuses and placating the Montreal media. He's right that the momentum can change quickly in a playoff series but he's concerning himself with the wrong things after a game 2 loss at home, in maybe the best arena in the NHL. Hes whining about bad calls and bounces.

It was more disturbing to me that he honestly felt the Canadiens played a "great"game. I thought they came out really hard but didn't really sustain it. Sure, Lundqvist shut the door but for long stretches of the game the Canadiens didnt do much to really press the issue, and they couldnt get to the front of the net. They didnt respond after the Rangers goals. Until Pouliot took that stupid penalty they looked disinterested and were getting beat to pucks all over the ice in every corner of the rink.

That went on seemingly forever in what was a very long 3rd period. They were only two goals down. If they pushed like they pushed in the beginning of the game and they get one in the third anything could have happened, especially in that building. I didnt feel safe until the clock got under 20 seconds. But thats a "great" game? Just because they got 40 shots on net and some great chances doesnt mean they played great. They werent doing the little things and paying the price to win, like the Rangers were.

He should focus on what his team isnt doing right instead of what the refs are up to. In watching his presser you can see how much more of an intelligent, patient approach AV has compared to him. Im loving AV right now. The greatest thing is hes been incredibly consistent the entire year and has learned from his past mistakes. He really confident in his coaching staff and the plan they put in front of the team and knows that the message is received. I didnt get that from Therrien at all. I got a guy who's looking for excuses for being down 2-0. Im glad thats how he wants to play it.

I don't watch much MTL hockey, but is Subban very overrated? All I have noticed about him is that he's got a huge shot, but he's also a diving, whiny *****.

he was the difference maker against Boston, AV & NYR have done a great job disarming him so far
