Series Talk: Round 2: Leafs vs. Panthers

Florida is a really good team. Lots of firepower and physical. There is no easy series in the playoffs.

Home ice advantage can't hurt.

FLA can score but they aren't as defenzively solid as T.B or Boston. Leafs will need a physical presence against their behind the net approach.

No playoff teams are a bye, but I much prefer Florida to Boston. That's not overconfidence, it's about matchups. Leafs need to play a heavy game just as they did against T.B.

I wlll also be rooting for NJ tomorrow night. The Canes may be the toughest opponent left.

I like how the Leafs' match up depth wise. If they can play solid D against Florida's top 6 and limit their offensive damage, the Leafs' depth should outplay the Panthers.

Even though Florida won, the Bruins are the better team. Bergeron and Krejci were definitely hurting and it effects your team when both top 6 centres are aged and hurt.

Florida is still gonna be tough because they have a lot of high caliber talent. But I think we match up way better, we are a much deeper team, especially defensively. No series is a gimmie, as we just saw, they are no joke.

TD Gardens is one of the worst places for any visiting team to play in - there should actually be a decent Leafs fans contingent at FLA Live during the two home games the Leafs have to play there
