The fact we can't get him looks is ridiculous. Tampa and Washington never had problems getting Stamkos and Ovechkin open. What I can't stand is the amount of shots our teams while skating away from the net or turning on a 180. Matthews takes a lot of shots off while wright is shifting away from his shot.

Matthews I think would score even more on other teams IMO.

This couldn't be further from the truth. He's not getting his chances tonight (and only tonight) because the line itself has had no ability to sustain any pressure and the few times they have he wasn't the trigger man for whatever reason.

The fact that Keefe hasn't put Nylander up with Matthews at this point is inexplicable. Nylander is moving his feet tonight, Matthews and Marner are dragging each other down, so put Nylander with Matthews and hope his energy rubs off and you get your elite C going.
