I really looked at this even though the travel is a pain in the ass, the Nashville matchup was better because if the Predators were to win it, at least it wouldn't be such a pain in the ass losing to a team that wasn't a rival.

If they wanted to win the division, they probably shouldn't have gone 4-6-1 after clinching. They'll need to play better than in their 2 home games against the Sharks this year.

I agree. Got home and saw the score. It figures. So the Capitals rest their stars and basically can't be bothered to score a goal. The Ducks were so bad pre-Christmas that some were calling for Boudreau's head and Getzlaf couldn't buy a goal and the Kings still managed to hand them 1st place in the regular season. The Kings just can't have nice things like division titles.

Then they just take the big hardware. Guess I can't complain.
