I would prefer Nashville as they don't go to the front like SJ or ANA. They always tended to sit back and counter punch, but it's even more apparent this year. They are a completely back-end driven team which usually doesn't work in the playoffs.
its worked pretty freaking well against LA this year
Nashville, as I don't think they have the scoring depth the Sharks do, and even their top forwards don't scare me all that much. A lot of their key players are getting up there in years too. Didn't realize Ribeiro is 36 and Rinne is 33.
Also the potential shenanigans quotient in a Sharks-Ducks best of seven is off the charts. Perry-Couture jousting after every whistle. Kesler and Thornton trading flops. Bieksa and Hertl telling each other horror stories about the bogeyman Dustin Brown. Potential for a Jesus-Jones goalie fight?
Another effect of the win last night was to give the Kings a shot at passing Chicago in points. Not likely as Chicago has Columbus, but at least its on the road for them. You never know who you are going to face if you make it to the WCF.
gonna be honest here, i really don't think home-ice actually means a damn thing to the Kings outside of putting on airs to make it seem like they actually care about the regular season and seeding. They won both cups as bottom seeds and had incredible road success in both runs, i just don't see it being a huge factor for them at the end of the day.
Any idea what days the games might be on? Got to start asking for time off from work

I could see some (few) Ducks fans hoping the Kings win the division on Saturday. Then they could rest everyone Sunday. Having a chance at a semi meaningless division title might cause an injury. Playing Gibson on back to back nights with travel may be something to avoid. Of course the Ducks could win the division on Saturday and get to rest that way.
Do you know the way to San Jose?
