This is kind of a huge fork in the road for the Leafs. Either they win and everybody relaxes, or they lose and there's a non-zero chance that Matthews and Marner aren't on the same team next season. wow

I'm rooting for Toronto. Nothing against Montreal but I'd like to see teams with more high end skill move on. Although it would be kind of funny to see Winnipeg and Montreal move on when not many gave them much of a chance.

They have more than enough talent to beat the habs. All these things should motivate them.
being a fan of a team who has failed to live up to expectations thus far, I'm sure you can understand my skepticism.

So this series pretty much confirms that the “North” division is the absolute poorest assembly of hockey teams in the history of nhl divisional play.....just pathetic

And yet it could give us the best goalie in the playoffs and goalies can singlehandedly steal series

This is a strange series but has lived up to the hype with a Game 7! Probably the biggest game these playoffs so far
Go Leafs!!

Think of it as this no matter who wins I give them 25% chance of winning against the Jets. So both teams are screwed if you think about it. Which is horrible if you think about the legacy of both clubs.

That series will start with a Jets win in Game 1 regardless of who it is. Game 2 in the next round will give more of an indication which way it goes
