I'm rooting for Toronto. Nothing against Montreal but I'd like to see teams with more high end skill move on. Although it would be kind of funny to see Winnipeg and Montreal move on when not many gave them much of a chance.

We all do, but sometimes the LOL prevails

So this series pretty much confirms that the “North” division is the absolute poorest assembly of hockey teams in the history of nhl divisional play.....just pathetic
The Norris in the 80's was fodder for whoever won the Smythe.

Hoping for a great game! It's a shame Muzzin is out. Good luck to both teams, I'm hoping for OT haha!

I just can't see how Montreal wins tonight. There is literally zero reason on paper for Toronto to lose. Guys like Matthews and Marner have to show up to play eventually, they are some of the best players in the entire league. Toronto has dominated for the majority of this series. They came into these playoffs a cup favorite, and nobody had them losing the division let alone losing in the first round. Montreal is a truly awful hockey team, they are very badly built and completely unbalanced. IMO they have no chance, and they have no business being in this series in the first place.

But game 3 and 4 are back to back, giving again an edge to the Jets.
Cross that bridge when we get there. Lots of things can happen between now and then. A couple bounces or unforeseen injuries can change things very quick. For all we know all this time off between games for the Jets takes them away from the mojo and good luck they had in round 1

I see what you are doing here, Waffle. And I commend you for it. Exactly as I would have played it.

Absolutely ridiculous. And you call yourself a hab fan?

Wait what? Habs are your team and Leafs are your 2nd team? It just doesn't compute, how is that possible? Really curious about the reasoning behind that to be honest.
Lived in both cities. ~35% of my friends are Hab fans, ~35% of my other friends are Leaf fans. Always liked both. Attended many Hab and Leaf games.

Wanna know what’s the weirdest part? Bruins are my 3rd favourite team! Been to quite a few Bruin games in my life, always a blast!

Everyone thinks I’m weird, but you know what? Hockey would NEVER be the same without those 3 teams. NYR is my 4th, though they should technically be my first or second considering I know (and am friends with) a whole lot of people working with the organization.

They have Carey Price. That alone means they are well built for the playoffs

I’m so excited to watch one of these teams lose...but for TO to lose in this fashion would be (as an impartial fan of course) glorious.
