The way he plays offense is not the way this team plays offense, and that concerns me as to when he gets here.

Every move he makes is to work his way towards the net, and then he finds the seam when he draws coverage.

The Rangers go right for the seam and f*** the coverage. Just keep chucking the pass into traffic until it hits.
They got lazy since year 1 Panarin.

Panarin and the team used to skate and attack the middle, which makes it easier to create seams. Now everyone stops skating.... From Panarin to his support. They are easy to defend and stay too much to the perimeter. I have no clue how to change that because it's been an issue for years now

It's so weird to root for a team that plays decently fast and looks like they're trying to do something offensively.

not defending emery over hutson but fortescue is that kind of drury pick and he looks solid as they come

He is, there is room for both kinds of players.

The FO goes back and forth between spamming one or the other. It wasn't long ago where we had Pionk, Fox, DeAngelo, Lundkvist, Keane and Jones in the organization.

Balance has always been the key. They don't seem to understand that and evidenced by their recent obsession with MEAT AND POTATOES.

they didn't draft any of those (except Lundkvist)

Who are you referring to with the bolded?

Are we really going to get on the front office for Emery over Hutson? Almost every ranking had Emery ahead, and all this board ever does is bitch about 'BPA' and not 'going off the board' then we draft guys like Othmann and Emery almost exactly where they are predicted to go and people get annoyed...

Why does it matter?

They stockpiled that type of player.

I'm referring to the latest report via Emily Kaplan yesterday that the FO wants more "Meat and Potatoes" players.
