I'd be happy if they dont do too much, especially in regards to getting plus 28 year olds. Knies, sure whats the cost though, a young dman for sure, but a guy like Tuch is a ticking time bomb of a contract. Make deals for young players or prospects, you aren't offseasoning this team to a cup next year.

he does, which is why 30% seems a chance. Drury seems to operate very differently from the way we'd expect/like him too. We should give him shit for the way he (usually) conducts business, but we should no longer be surprised by it

I rather hope a young kid surprises like Laba did this past training camp. I rather trade for gius like McTavish, Voronkov, Kent Johnson, etc than overpay an ufa that isn't worth it in a weak ufa class

The Rangers always have to give $1 for $.50 cents (it's been this way for generations) and Drury had made some stinkers.

So it's going to take some time to reset the perception/reputation. Some team will probably miss out on free agents and come July 20th, make a serious push. It will probably be somewhere like $.75 for $1.

Probably close to 50%. Trocheck collects a $3MM bonus on July 1. That changes the economics for several teams.
