Pending the actual picks on draft day - that would be a decent redemption move for druryI’m telling you… Trocheck and Schneider for 4.
Hell I might even throw in 26

No worries, bud. There are a lot of personal attacks on players on these boards, eg. Mika and Laf as well, but that’s not my thing. Most of these players I know very little of off the ice. And frankly their lives are not my business.fine. sorry.
I regret volunteering to mod that place some days.
Used to be my favorite part of the forum. Lately it's just been a circle... thing of those teams that are in favor right now. Those GMs can do no wrong. Their players are at maximum value always.
The rangers could have McDavid signed to a league minimum contract and people there would refuse to give a first round pick.
trade board doesn't like itI’m telling you… Trocheck and Schneider for 4.

The Blackhawks did kick the tires on available top-six forwards. The Toronto Maple Leafs’ asking price for Matthew Knies was believed to be the No. 4 pick and one of the Blackhawks’ top players. I’m not sure who the Leafs asked for, but Frank Nazar or Anton Frondell seem possible. At that point, the Blackhawks are probably losing more than they’re getting.
Just need Buffalo to like it, and GMs can be dumb (look at ours)trade board doesn't like it
You mean you don’t think Trocheck has been overpaid, is a 3C, and is worth the 45th overall and change?I regret volunteering to mod that place some days.

Still looking at San Jose for Schneider with that late 1st and a good prospect. Bystedt or Musty. Outside chance of Anaheim
And I still think Columbus comes through with the deal for Trochek. 15th +.
Who knows what’s going on with Gavrikov.
We’ve seen countless 1st’s traded already.

If it is the Sabres, I'm doing whatever to get the 4th pick in the deal without the 5th pick being involved.
Trocheck + 26 for 4. If you consider valuation, the difference between picks 26 and 4 is the value of the 7th pick.
Is Trocheck's impact much different than a 2016 Derek Stepan? He was worth the 7th pick. I'm not saying that was a great trade for the Coyotes, clearly it wasn't, but I do not think it is that far off.
There may be an offsetting Rangers pick somewhere in there. The Rangers have 4 3rd rounders, use however many of those to get this over the top.
Fat Swede Frondell will already be better than Knies next season.
Benson reupped with the Sabres 7 years $7.5M AAV
My question is, what would you add to 5 to move up to 2? If you can get 4 without giving up 5 (move Tro for example) do you trade 4 and 5 for 2 and 9? Or 4, 5, 26 for 2 and 9? SJ would get 2 top 5 players in that deal. Just spitballing though
Late 1st , Krebs , WahlbergTrochek is originally from Western PA which is a stones throw from Buffalo
I would hope they keep 4&5. But I have a hard time seeing Trochek bringing back 4. But Davidson shit the bed with 4 already once so I guess anything is possible in this market. My question is, what would you add to 5 to move up to 2?
