Interesting. Guessing Levi is ready? No point in sending Cooley back down unless they won't need him on wednesday as the Amerks also don't play till wednesday yes? Or do I have my schedules wrong?

They don’t play till Wednesday. Thry could send him down and recall him if necessary.

This week

Wed TNT at flyers
Fri NHLN flyers ( should pick up Sabres feed)
Sat NHLN at Laughs ( HNIC feed)

yea but the Amerks don't play till wednesday either do they? So what would the point be in sending him down?

I wonder what this is about? I would've thought a d-man would've been called up before a forward given the current situation. Did I miss something last game?
They got a shutout and Bryson looked OK. With one more game left without Clifton, they obviously are fine with Bryson getting another game.

So, I do not know why they would use the open roster spot with Comrie on IR (and I'm guessing this means Levi is healthy enough to at least back up UPL) on a D.

Multiple someones hurt????

I don't get this move at all. Bryson looked fine, so there's no need to call up a D to cover for Clifton on Wednesday.

And why call someone up when we already have a healthy forward scratch every night????
Maybe he's looking at an Olofsson trade. I can imagine that right now Olofsson might even request it, seeing that his minutes/games are down and that will hinder his stats and status for a next contract. The sooner a trade, the more time Olofsson will have to work toward a better deal with another team. So maybe KA wants to see if Biro can handle those minutes/role for a couple games, then KA will feel good about trading Olofsson sooner. Just a guess.

Because they have too many D in Rochester and it would reward one of them with an NHL paycheck for being a good soldier.

Also, defensemen get hurt fairly regularly so it would be nice to have a backup, to make sure we aren’t short handed next time Sammy takes a puck yo the head.

They have guys sitting in Roch every game because they have so much depth. Gotta reward those guys for being patient once in a while.

I don't think this ends up dragging out the decision any further. I don't see him missing a bunch of time and then being able to stick after coming back for a handful of games.

The final decision will technically come down the road, but I think this injury makes him going back to Juniors inevitable.
