Grit & Character
I liked EVERYONE other than Avery. As long as a player was wearing a Kings jersey, played hard, and didn't have character issues like Avery, I liked them.
I actually like Andreoff in his current role a a bottom six winger, he was just awful a a center between a bad LW and according to the stat a horrendous RW. He has been fine skating as a 3rd line winger. The thing with Andreoff on this board was just how ridiculously overhyped he was. I think TG was the reason behind that, loved the guy but he was pretty bullish on pretty much every Kings prospect and I think Andy was his favorite of all time and the hype went from there.
Smyth was a true warrior. It takes a certain kind of man to protect his family from the savage soccer moms in leased X5's that patrol the Whole Foods parking lots in Manhattan Beach.

I hyped Andreoff awhile back too because during rookie camps he was a leader with skills who could fight. In all honestly he has looked better than Clifford and Nolan in all regards. Nolan kills me because Clifford is doing all the fighting and he is one concussion away from eating soup thru a straw. If Nolan isn't contributing as a 4th line player he should be fighting at least.
Andreoff has more goals than both Nolan and Clifford and showed he can keep up with decent players.
Have you ever actually met any of these women, or women of their type?
Scary.

I'm surprised that he would even allow his kids to be at the local park and subjected to the bullying that was incredibly prevalent in the South Bay.

**** you, you Cupless lying crying POS.

Scary.
Brough must have a crystal ball or something, because hours after he wrote how interesting a free agent Milan Lucic will be, there’s news about Lucic’s contract situation.
Per ESPN’s Pierre LeBrun, the Kings are interested in re-signing Lucic and want to begin contract talks in the not-too-distant future.
More, from TSN’s Insider Trading panel:
“[Lucic] loves being there, and the Kings recently reached out to Lucic’s camp and said ‘listen, let’s get something going in the new year. We want to keep this guy around.’
“Obviously, they’ve got to get [Anze] Kopitar done first, but they’d like to retain Lucic.”
Lucic, 27, is in the last of a three-year, $18 million deal with a $6M average annual cap hit. His production on a line alongside top scorers Jeff Carter and Tyler Toffoli has been great this year — 10 goals, 18 points — and while there’s no doubt Kings GM Dean Lombardi would like to keep that trio together, it will financially difficult.
Per war-on-ice, L.A. has just under $50 million committed to only 14 players next year. The Kopitar contract will undoubtedly be huge, and Lombardi also needs to keep some money available for when Toffoli and Tanner Pearson go RFA in ’17-18.
All of this begs the question: Would Lucic take a haircut to stick with the Kings? Because remember, for as much as he’d love to stay in L.A., the lure of Vancouver is there as well.
I think it is all of Southern California, you wouldn't believe the viciousness of the greenbelt gangs roaming the nicer areas in Orange county.

if Dean manages to sign Kopitar and Lucic while dumping Brown and/or Gaborik I will never say anything bad about him ever again
that seems like a good plan, it makes it a bit easier for the guy. the question is who goes with brown. 4th line will be defensively soft anyhow, so i hope weal will get some minutes with brown, it might help him longterm, brown is our best wowy and weal can profit from playing with him in many ways. if i'm correct, weal and mersch will not spend a lot of time on ice together.
if today's line rushes are an indication mersch will get to play with brown and shore on line 3 and weal will be on line 4 with andreoff and nolan. so no, weal won't get to play with brown, which is too bad. would've liked to see how they'd work out. might give him a chance to play more offensively. we've got to wait and see what the line rushes are tmrw but things are probably set.
anyone know prognosis on clifford? lewis? king? i am assuming king and clifford will be out longer than lewis?
