$10.5 AAV for Tuch is insane to me even with the cap going on. I get he’s a pretty safe 30+ goal scorer but he’s a 60 point top six winger who’s on the wrong side of 30. I’m glad it isn’t us committing to that.

That's what I expect to happen, he is going to want to bring in his own core through the draft, but that doesn't mean you rebuild, you just brought in a playoff-grade coach and Schaefer isn;t one to lose he wants to win. Owners also, want to win, always. You can walk and chew gum at the same time, this isn't binary.
